I'm guessing it's because she accepted my in-game request. She's just there under a different username. My friend is showing up on my Origin friends list as offline. I downloaded Origin just for troubleshooting. Today I loaded up and now I see on the right hand side a list of Xbox friends online, but in the left hand menu under Friends it says 0 online, I can't add nay of the Xbox friends to that list, and I can't add any of them to the activity tracker page or to track against individual games, they are all empty. I have a Series X, and I know its not just the xbox because my phone app the xbox game bar show the same thing. I checked the xbox app and it shows my friends list is blank there too. Of course, I think the option is grayed out for both of us. After starting my xbox after work today, I saw my friends list was blank. Lets start out by removing your profile from your Xbox One, once your profile is removed, power cycle your Xbox One (hold down the power button for 8-10 seconds), and then add your profile back to see if theres any change in your friend list. My friend has youtube vids of her playing with non-PS4 players, so I know she has cross platform enabled. I play Fortnite cross platform, so I know my Xbox settings allow for it.
The only people showing up on my list are Xbox friends who don't even play Apex. Choose Invite and youll open the Epic Games social panel on your friends list. Problem is that she doesn't show up on my friends list. Xbox Live friends, and for PlayStation, you can invite players through PSN. When I search for her again, it shows the green check that we're friends. She can see me because it shows Xbox next to my name. Another issue is a glitched friends list that doesnt allow you to see. I searched for her in game and sent her a friend request. Xbox players not even being able to launch the game.
